LPU partners Murdoch university

Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar has signed a landmark deal through the medium of Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Murdoch University, Perth, Australia to cooperate in the field of technical education. The MoU calls for enhanced co-operation between the two institutes in the streams of engineering, computer science, electronics and information technology. The tie-up gives the students opting for B.Tech courses at the both university the option to pursue studies both at LPU and Murdoch University, with two year stints at each of the two universities. The MoU was signed by Prof. Yiannis Attikioizel, executive dean, Murdoch University, and Dr. Vijay Gupta, Vice Chancellor, LPU.

Two New Flyovers for Jalandhar

Municipal government has initiated the construction of two new flyovers in Jalandhar with the collaboration the Company - Gammon India Ltd. which is also involved in the flyover being constructed near Railway Road for the last few years. But now these new flyovers are intended to be completed at the record time because of their prime location at two highways near railway crossings one at DAV College Halt and the other would be started a Lyallpur Khalsa College halt. For this many of the (eucalyptus) trees filled gardens along the road side are being made baron by cutting of trees for making the temporary road space for the traffic flow during the construction time thereby affecting the scenery and total landscape near Lyallpur Khalsa College.
